Guiyang Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xianfeng Machine Tool") originated from the Guizhou Heavy Forging Equipment Plant, established in 1958 in Gaozhen, Huishui County, Guizhou Province. In 1965, due to the needs of the "Third Front" construction, Wuxi Machine Tool Plant was relocated to support the establishment of Xianfeng Machine Tool Plant. In 2008, the company was officially registered as Guiyang Xianfeng Machine Tool Co., Ltd., with its headquarters in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. The company also has subsidiaries, Huishui Xianfeng Machine Tool Branch and East China Xianfeng Machine Tool Branch.
Xianfeng Machine Tool is a well-regulated state-owned enterprise with a registered capital of 100 million RMB. Guizhou Electromechanical (Group) Co., Ltd. holds 99% of the shares, while Guiyang Xianfeng Logistics Co., Ltd. owns the remaining 1%. The company currently employs over 800 staff members, including more than 600 professionals across various technical fields. Among its 124 management personnel, there are 102 engineering and technical staff, and 287 skilled workers, including 14 senior engineers and 68 senior technicians.
Xianfeng Machine Tool has undertaken numerous national and provincial-level major scientific and technological research projects. Since producing China’s first roll grinder in 1968, the company has served as the drafting and revision unit for Chinese roll grinder standards. Today, it has developed comprehensive capabilities for designing and manufacturing a full range of products, from standard models to CNC types. Most of its product series and specifications were the first of their kind domestically, filling numerous technical gaps. Xianfeng has received over 100 national and provincial awards for scientific and technological progress and innovation. Notable achievements include the MM52125A gantry guideway grinder, which won the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievements from the Ministry of Machinery Industry in 1982, and the MK84125 CNC roll grinder, which earned the Second Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress in 1995. The company was certified under the ISO9001 quality management system in 1995 and the ISO10012 measurement management system in 2007. In the same year, the "Xianfeng brand CNC grinder" was recognized as a China Famous Brand.
The "Xianfeng" brand CNC grinders from Xianfeng Machine Tool hold a significant market share across key industries, including metallurgy, shipbuilding, paper manufacturing, and national defense. The products are exported to over 30 countries and regions, making the company an important participant in China's "Belt and Road" initiative. Xianfeng's Huishui production base covers an area of 245,000 square meters and is equipped with more than 700 advanced processing machines and inspection instruments. With total assets valued at 688 million RMB, the company produces over 700 specialized grinders annually, making it one of the leading production bases for roll grinders and centerless grinders in China.
